passion of the latest HTC smartphone. The HTC One is another name of their
smartphone which launched in the 2013. HTC One was one of the new
beginning and dreams for the struggling giant.
HTC One has come to the market with lot of changes. Many new and innovative features were added than their previous mobiles. You can clearly identified it from this ' what will you bring to the life"- it was the HTC tagline when they introduced HTC ONE. Let's see what was special in this HTC One
Design
We all know HTC is well known for their familiar and amazing design. HTC One is no difference and it follows the HTC tradition. It's staggeringly nice looking and cased in metal body. Although HTC told that "all metal body' but HTC One has still plastic breaks. So we cannot say HTC One is full of metal monster. But undoubtedly it looks solid and without flex or bending when you manipulate the mobile. The anodised aluminium uni-body makes up the back and frontpart of the device
If you watch closely on the front the display appears to stretch from edge to edge. Soft curves and chamfered\edges make HTC one more ultra-modern and ultra-sophisticated. Unlike HTC One X poly carbonated unibody, HTC One has made a changes and it looks like a little troy.
The HTC One is measure 137.4 x 68.2 x 9.3mm and it has weight of 143g. If you compare HTC One with last year HTC Hero then HTC One is a fraction heavier and taller than One X. HTC One is more a complete packages than the HTC One X.
You will feel better to hold it because of the narrower body with curved back. But you have to face real problem to reach power/standby button because it is placed top of the 4.7 inch diagonal display. But if you want larger display then you have to comprise with such factor.
Now the real question is that can HTC One last long unlike other anodised device. We all know apple has encountered several problems with Apple iphone 5. Because there is some scratch mark on the body despite being careful use. Already HTC One is facing similar problem.
Display
The HTC One display is simply one of the best displays and you can't ask better than this. You will get Full HD resolution, with 1920 x 1080pixels, and a pixel density of 468ppi. HTC One will offer you to view at different angels and color reproduction.
HTC One will also offer you better contrast and viewing angels with deep black and deep bright whites, even it is much better than Sony flagship. Auto brightness is available and brightness can be limited by the 'power saver' button.
Good Hardware and Performance
HTC One has come with 1.7GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 chipset at its core, which provide you plenty of power. It has 2GB RAM and combined, HTC skips through whatever you throw at it. When you push the HTC One it will become slightly warm and because of the metal conducts heat, you will feel the warming glow through your fingers.
HTC One has provided all types of connectivity. It is an LTE handset, have dual channel Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4 with aptX support. HTC One will offer you Micro-USB on the bottom and incorporating MHL to connect larger display. Also 3.5mm headphone socket placed on the top. Because design do not permit to expand internal storage over 32GB, HTC One also offers same. But you will get 25GB of free dropbox space for 2 years when you sign-in with new device.
HTC One bringing TV in your life by the IR controller which built in power button. Now your HTC One will work as a Universal remote to control your TV, Satellite or cable box.
Camera
HTC One will make you real photographer by its stunning Ultra-pixel camera. Although, drooping the sensor to 4 megapixel. But its ultra-pixel has the capability to increase the amount of light captured by the sensor and improve the performance at any tricky weather. Image files are very small in terms of other 8 or 13 megapixels camera. It’s very easy to navigate and offers main shooting modes Video and Zoe. HTC One is very quick to focus and snap off shots. HTC One has touch focusing option.
HTC One has also the same noise problem like other stills camera and it becomes larger at low light. But one thing makes HTC One more special because it preserves color better than others. HTC One has several effect to apply and you can change the aspect and shoot at different modes.
Some extra feature has been added to the front camera too. It has the net countdown and HDR mode to the front camera. I think HTC One has very good front camera too.
HTC One provides nice video modes including 60fps and slow motion both of may be sacrifice the quality. Also offers HDR video mode which sacrifices the speedy focusing. But i think real best is 1080p mode.
Battery Life
HTC One battery rated as 2300mAh, which is much better than the previous HTC One X(1800mAh). So this time HTC learned from their previous mistake and improve the battery capacity. It is much needed changed because HTC One has more live element, LTE, and high resolution display.
The battery will be lasted according to your use. It will be lasted around up to 12 hours in the busy day. It includes listening music, play games, data browsing, photo shoot, as well as talking and messaging. But it may change if you always connected with 4G, using brightest display and regularly sharing Zoe video.
Calling and Sound
The calling experience on the HTC One is simply amazing, as the ear speaker is very impressive. If we talk about the quality of voice call then it is rich and perfect unlike other HTC mobiles. HTC One has Sense voices and uses dual mics in the front and rear to detect what should be captured and what not. Another fact is that this mics are also dual diaphragm. It’s cut down unwanted vibration for better audio performance. HTC One has changed the tinny audio speakers and added Bomsound,. HTC One has two forward facing speakers which offer very good sound quality and performance.
This speakers offer high volume and stereo effect which is also noticeable. When you play games or watch movie with its thumping soundtrack, then you will see how impressive it is!
HTC Sense 5
HTC One is the first device where new edition, Sense 5 added. It brings new look and lot new features and other aspects to the HTC users interface. In HTC Sense 5 we see the changes are welcome and significant. The headline change is the blank feed and lot of other things going on here.
If you watch virtually then things look different as most of the clutter has been removed. You will see only fewer apps, icons. The whole things are lighter and mature then earlier. The finer fronts used to take out the advantages of high resolution display.
