Xbox 720 - Microsoft latest gaming console

Microsoft's latest gaming console Xbox 720 is currently the latest video game console that has been produced by Microsoft. As a part of the 8th generation of video game consoles, its main competitors are Sony PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Wii U. It has already been released in several important markets across the globe, but Japan and some European markets are still waiting for its official reveal.
Xbox 720 is based on an x86 architecture which means that it doesn't follow the steps of Xbox 360. The whole focus is on entertainment integration and according to Microsoft, players should take full advantage of it, as well as the upgraded Kinect system that can sense all kinds of motions. This system's functionality has been taken to a whole new level and if you add the support for live streaming while you play and the cloud computing abilities, it is clear that this console is trying to appeal to as many potential players as possible. However, it is fair to mention that the initial impressions about the console have not been very positive, especially due to some restrictions regarding the resale of used games, as well as the online connectivity requirements. The integration with Kinect is also considered an issue by some and as a result, a lot of public complaints on account of Xbox 720 have been made. So far, Microsoft has responded by promising that the restrictions would be dropped in the period that follows. So, apart from the shaky start, it seems that the future is bright for this new powerful console.
