At first we should give thanks to the Apple because finally they given a proper name to their new iPad rather than just give a name like 'iPad". The Air has many visual differences which distinguish it from its predecessors. The Air is very lighter and thinner. The Air is 7.5 mm thin and staggeringly light just 469g (Wi-Fi version). Apple iPad air is 183g lighter than the iPad4.
To reduce weight, Apple had to make Air much smaller and thinner than it's predecessors. Usually it takes design cues from the iPad Mini which has thinner bezel and slimmer case. As we expect from Apple, The Air is made from a single piece of aluminiums with a glass in front. To match the color of iPhone 5S, iPad Air is available in Space Grey and White.
The Air has a amazing 1.2MP/720p Face time camera in the front also has a home button in the bottom. The iPad Air does not sport the finger print sensor for Touch ID which we saw iPhone 5S. The iPad Air has a two up-top microphone and 5MP iSight camera that's capable of 1080p video. This iPad Air is one of the best design ipad by the Apple and would have been better if Touch Id includes. But you really never miss it.
Feature that makes iPad Air more special
Apples display is always amazing and the iPad air is not different. The IPS retina display with lovely colors and great sensitivity, simply makes it one of the best in business. The viewing angel is fine although it is not 320ppi. Sunlight legibility is also excellent and another good thing that the screen does not attract fingerprint as easily. The iOS 7 looks amazing on the huge screen. Special thanks should give to apple brand new A7 microprocessors. Due to this the multitasking feature in iOS7 is possible. For the first time we get 64-bit capable SoC in a mobile device. The new chip is very fast and even you can play very intensive games like Real Racing 3, Real Steel or Asphalt 8. After some time the tablet may be gets warm but it is not a problem.
Storage
You will get 16GB space in your iPad Air and 12.8GB space available for apps and media file. But it is not enough because most of the iPad apps are larger in size due to the high resolution textures and images needed. After installing around 27 apps you will find yourself running out of spaces. Apple does not add any expandable storage to any of their mobile products, which is one of the biggest drawbacks till date.
Connectivity
Apple iPad Air is the version of Wi-Fi-only model so there is no LTE/3G or even no GPS. But they provide dual-brand Wi-Fi'n', Bluetooth v4.0 and TV-out via the lightning Jack.
Camera
The camera on new iPad Air is the same 5MP iSight shooter from the earlier model. But it is very decent enough to do job for a tablet. There is excellent depth of field and app is very quick to focusing and saving the images. HDR pictures also save very quickly and indoor shoots are amazing because it does very little noise. We liked the 8MP sensor from the Apple iPhone 5. But still iPad Air providng us a decent shooter.

It would have been better as we expected more battery life. But still Air promises up to 10 hours of battery life for media playback.
